The Kende Trio
The Kende Trio performs classical and contemporary music at weddings, corporate functions, holiday parties, anniversary celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs. The ensemble was established in 1995 by Alexis and her two sisters, who all attended Juilliard and Princeton University. Lauded by Distinction Magazine for their “impassioned performances and infectious personal appeal”, The Kende Trio exemplifies the “ideal blend of virtuosity and group integration”. The trio has also been featured by the New York Times, WABC-TV News, and NBC-TV’s “Today Show”.
In 2010, The Kende Trio expanded to include a larger network of professional musicians who specialize in vocals, harp, trumpet, flute, bass, piano, and more. In this way, the ensemble offers a greater variety of musical styles, ranging from classical, to jazz, to contemporary.
All musicians affiliated with The Kende Trio are established professionals with extensive experience performing at high-profile events. Prominent venue appearances include The Plaza, Tavern On The Green, Greenwich Polo Club, Oheka Castle, Bruce Museum, Mohonk Mountain House, Old Westbury Gardens, Wolffer Estate Vineyard, Gramercy Park Hotel, and various private clubs in the greater Metropolitan area.
